We’re seeking an energetic advertising account executive to join our small team at Videomaker Inc.
Videomaker’s mission is to help others achieve their pursuits by using video as a common communications medium. We picture a world where people use video as regularly as they use photos, illustrations, and text to communicate thoughts, ideas and concepts. We believe freedom of expression is essential for human progress, and that free societies are better off when more people can effectively express themselves with video.
The Role
You will be responsible for building and selling advertising campaigns to video and photo tech companies for Videomaker.com and the Videomaker email newsletter that reaches millions of video creators worldwide.
We will be transitioning accounts from our Associate Publisher to you so she can transition to an administrative role.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting for businesses that sell products and services to video creators
- Developing customer rapport
- Responding to RFPs and building proposals
- Closing sales
- Servicing accounts
- Achieving and exceeding sales revenue goals
Requirements
- A love of technology
- Two years of inside sales experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to learn new software and productivity tools quickly
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to conduct some business travel during the year
